In October last year, Facebook announced that it will offer a new “Facebook Alpha program” for users who want to try out some of the new features using the Facebook’s Android app. Now Facebook 7.0.0.27 alpha build has arrived, bringing with it a decent user interface.
While the changes are not that big, the new UI is cleaner and more attractive than earlier versions of the app.
Facebook previously made it clear that some of the new alpha features would “come and go” so there is no guarantee that the new UI will make it to the stable release.
If they do decide to move forward with this new look, then it will first hit the beta build of the app and then, maybe later, the UI will come to the stable version of Facebook app. In other words, we wouldn’t expect to see this new user interface to officially roll out anytime soon.
